Next week, the entire sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) value chain converges on the historic Beurs van Berlage as SAF Congress 2026 opens its doors for three days that will set the agenda for the year ahead. As the fifth edition of the world's largest SAF and aviation decarbonisation event, the Congress unites airlines, fuel producers, energy majors, financiers, policymakers and technology innovators in a single room — with registration closing Friday 12 June and final passes now selling fast.
Taking place from 15–17 June 2026, SAF Congress has grown into the central meeting point for an industry moving from ambition to delivery. This year's programme spans more than 60 hours of content across three days, beginning with a Masterclass, Intelligence and Workshop Day, followed by two main conference days of high-profile keynotes, live debates, airline power panels and region-by-region market analysis.
An agenda built for a maturing market
The 2026 edition lands at a pivotal moment, with the EU and UK SAF mandates now in force and the industry confronting the practical realities of scaling supply, closing the cost gap on eSAF, and unlocking project finance. Sessions deep-dive into ReFuelEU Aviation in practice, making SAF bankable, the path to the 2030 Power-to-Liquid sub-mandate, and the global policy landscape from North America to Asia Pacific.
A highlight of the main programme is the official launch of the sixth annual SAF Market Outlook, produced by SkyNRG in collaboration with ICF, presented live on the morning of 16 June.
The inaugural SAFTAs
New for 2026, the Sustainable Aviation Futures Trailblazer Awards (The SAFTAs) will celebrate real, measurable progress in aviation decarbonisation. Across eleven categories — from SAF Project of the Year to the Exceptional Woman in SAF — an independent panel of senior industry judges will recognise the teams turning ambition into outcomes. Winners will be announced on the evening of 16 June.
More ways to connect than ever
With its exhibition floor already fully sold out and all 38 booths claimed by leading SAF producers, technology providers and financiers, demand for SAF Congress 2026 has reached record levels. This year's edition offers more ways to connect than ever: the SAFTAs awards night, networking drinks hosted by Welcome Drinks sponsor Zaffra and Official Networking Partner King & Spalding, extended networking breaks built into every day, and AI-powered matchmaking that takes the guesswork out of finding the right connections. The 1-2-1 networking app is already live, with hundreds of meetings booked ahead of the event.
A growing room
Momentum has continued to build in the final week before doors open, with 40 new companies confirmed. Recent additions to the delegate list include Delta, Emirates, Qatar Airways, Etihad, Flydubai, DHL, Netflix, Air France-KLM, Schneider Electric, Green Star BCS, Oman Net Zero Centre, the European Chamber of Commerce in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Sustainable Markets Initiative, Circularity Fuels and KfW IPEX-Bank — alongside government representation including the Ministry of Mines and Energy Brazil and ANAC Brazil.
The 2026 Congress is powered by an industry-leading roster of partners, with Smartenergy as Lead Sponsor, Gevo and OMV as Diamond Sponsors, and SMBC Aviation Capital as Platinum Sponsor.
