SAF Congress 2026 saw the inaugural Sustainable Aviation Futures Trailblazer Awards — the SAFTAs — take centre stage at the Beurs van Berlage. Created to recognise the people, projects and organisations driving aviation's decarbonisation forward, the awards celebrated genuine achievement across the entire value chain, from feedstock and fuel production to finance, infrastructure and advocacy.
With nominations drawn from across the global SAF community — and winners spanning startups, airlines, airports, technology innovators and industry pioneers — the SAFTAs honoured those turning ambition into measurable progress.
