About the Event

Aviation's biggest story
is being written here.

SAF Congress — the Sustainable Aviation Futures Congress — is the world's largest dedicated event for Sustainable Aviation Fuel and aviation decarbonisation. Every year, it brings together the entire value chain: airlines, fuel producers, policymakers, investors, and technology leaders united by a single challenge: getting aviation to net zero.

The 2026 edition takes place at the iconic Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam — three days of high-level debate, deal-making, and breakthrough announcements from the companies and leaders shaping the future of flight.

"This is where the SAF transition is shaped — the policies, the partnerships, the investments, and the technology breakthroughs that will define whether aviation hits net zero."

Story Angles

The stories your
audience wants to read.

Policy
The regulatory race

EU mandates, US incentives, ICAO targets. Policymakers and airlines debating who blinks first — and what that means for the pace of the SAF transition.

Investment
Billions on the line

Where is capital flowing? Which SAF production pathways are attracting the next wave of investment — and where are the gaps that could slow scale-up?

Technology
The feedstock frontier

From e-fuels to waste-to-jet — which production technologies are closest to commercial reality, and which are still years away from meaningful scale?

The SAFTAs
Awards night

The SAFTAs — Sustainable Aviation Futures Trailblazer Awards — recognise the companies and individuals making the biggest strides in SAF commercial deployment.

Airlines
Pledges vs reality

How are airlines translating net-zero commitments into actual fuel procurement contracts — and what does the supply shortfall mean for their decarbonisation timelines?
